This delightfully illustrated series is designed to teach essential skills in basic subjects, with fun-to-do problems and projects as well as reward stickers and stars to build your child's confidence. Each workbook has over 25 great activities that have been created by a highly experienced teacher and are beautifully illustrated in full colour. The activities are designed to stimulate children and demonstrate basic counting concepts that will be developed in the classroom. Jean Williams is a former head teacher with a huge amount of primary educational experience in the UK spanning from 1960 to the present day. Most recently she has been involved in one-to-one Key Stage tuition with a variety of pupils, including booster classes for children aged 4 through to 7, as well as booster classes for older children. Jean also has a very good knowledge of 4- to 5-year-olds' learning abilities and understands the needs of nursery level children aged 3 and up. Sarah Eason's career spans over a decade in children's book publishing - from writing for Disney Princess magazine to authoring two early years fiction titles (Over the Moon Bear and Top to Tail Bear). She has worked as an editor, commissioning, senior and managing editor and most recently as a publisher at Heinemann Library, where she was responsible for publishing a variety of books for Key Stage 1 through to Key Stage 4 for the UK, US and Australian schools and libraries market. She now writes and project-manages both educational and trade children's books.
