Author Joy Lin, named one of the most inspirational science teachers by TED Ed, has a featured series on their website. She is also a screenwriter, comedian and presents superpower science theories at various Comic Cons. Joy is also author of the series Superpower Science.

Until recently, Joy Lin was a high school science teacher in Austin, Texas. She has a BA in Biology, a BS in Chemistry and another BS in Biochemistry from UT Austin. In 2013, TED and Kohl's Cares teamed up to look for 18 most inspiring lessons to animate, and her Hollywood vs. Science lessons were selected. She wrote a series of six videos: If Superpowers Were Real. She is also the author of the four-book series Superpower Science. She is now in the process of becoming an entertainer. She is a stand-up comedian who's been featured in four comedy festivals and competitions, most recently in NYC. Violet Tobacco illustrates from her small apartment in Atlanta. She grew up drawing and performing in theatre, so when she was originally choosing her career path, she took up a degree in theatre studies. On the cusp of her college career, Violet realised that her true love was storytelling - illustration is where her heart has found a home. She loves illustrating children's books, portraits, character designs, concept work, and anything that blends teamwork with new experiences. Violet loves working with other creative individuals and creating wild and whimsical worlds that help us better understand who we are.
