Money is one of the most important inventions in the history of human civilisation, allowing people to exchange goods and services, and amass great wealth and power. This book tells the story of money, from its origins to the rise of the banking system and beyond. You Wouldn't Want to Live Without Money! is part of the new science and technology strand within the internationally acclaimed You Wouldn't Want to Be series, created and designed by David Salariya.
