As a child Keith Gray was a reluctant reader, considering books a necessary chore. He has since gone on to write over 10 books for teenagers, nearly all of which have won, or been shortlisted for, a major award. Keith has been a judge for various children's book awards including the Blue Peter Book Award and the Guardian Fiction Prize. He lives in Edinburgh.
