Loren Ford earned his master’s degree in psychology from California State University, Long Beach, in 1974 and did doctoral work in a clinical program during the 80s. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon and has a part-time private practice. Over the last 30 years, he has worked at several mental health facilities doing therapy with adolescents and families. Since 1977, Loren has been on the faculty at Clackamas Community College in Oregon City. He teaches a number of classes on personal development, including human relations, college success, lifespan human development, and introduction to counseling.
