Dr A. Soheili holds a Ba and MA in TFL and received a PhD in linguistics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. He has more than thirty years of experience in teaching general linguistics, Persian, English, and the core areas in the field of Persian linguistics. He has a number of publications to his credit, including his works on the historical development of Persian grammar in its Eastern and Western branches. His latest work, A Dictionary of Persian Grammar, includes a comprehensive description of every grammatical entry in terms of a linguistic analysis, literary usage, and information about acquiring Persian.
