Quality of life is an issue which has drawn the attention of scholars, politicians and the general public since ancient times. Dr Xiangjun Ren gained his PhD degree in Philosophy from School of Economics and Social Sciences, Universität Hamburg, Germany. His main research interests include social welfare study, quality of life, elderly care, and cross-national comparison study on welfare policy. He has worked as a lecturer at the School of Public Administration, Jilin University of Finance and Economics, China, since 2022.
