Between the adult and the child, there is the adolescent who experiences things differently. At this stage of development, their omnipotence, aversion to submission and dependence on an adult are marked. So how do you approach them technically? In this book, the author explores this impasse, illustrating it with clinical cases and pointing to the importance of reviewing the technique used in adolescent care, suggesting the use of a mediating resource so that the results of clinical work can be speeded up and facilitated.

Maria Salete Arenales-Loli has a PhD and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology (UNESP/USP) and specialises in Organisational Psychology (UEL). She is the author of four books in the field of obesity (master's degree), two games for adolescents (doctorate) and one for application with elderly patients, and was awarded a prize by the International Federation of Obesity Surgery.
