Marcel Nyuysemo holds a PhD in philosophy from the University of Yaoundé 1, Cameroon, with specialization in epistemology and logic. He also holds a Higher Teachers' Diploma from the Higher Teachers' Training College of the same university. He has special interest in the specificities of African systems of thought and philosophy teaching methodologies. He has been teaching philosophy at Government Bilingual High School Jakiri, Cameroon, since 2011 and has been involved in research in philosophy since 2010. He is the author of five books: The Philosophy Essay Writer; Steps in Logic 3, 4 and 5; and The Textual Analyst. He is also the author of three scholarly articles: "Immanuel Kant's Moral Religion: A Solution to Contemporary Religious Servitude and Conflicts", "Seeking Divine Presence: The Moral Pathway", and "Questioning the Proliferation of Religious Denominations".
