MATTHEW E. GORDLEY is Interim Provost and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Carlow University. His work has been published in the Journal of Biblical Literature, Journal of Ancient Judaism, Journal of Jewish Studies, and Catholic Biblical Quarterly, among others.
