The life cycle of interpersonal conflicts is the set of phases that a conflict can have, starting from the phase of accumulation of tensions, the actual triggering of the conflict, the installation of the conflict, the development of the conflict, the radicalization of the conflict, the ebb and flow of the conflict in various forms, up to the post-conflict period, or even the revival of the conflict. Interpersonal conflicts become persistent when they last for years despite being resolved several times. Such conflicts recur in the same or other forms. However, managing this type of conflict requires a thorough knowledge of conflict resolution strategies and styles on the part of the manager. Choosing and using these strategies and styles requires knowledge of the relevance and sensitivity of each. This book provides readers with an overview of strategies and styles for analyzing and managing the life cycle of persistent interpersonal conflicts in different environments (hospitals, sports, prisons, schools, organizations (companies), etc.).
