Die Aufsätze handeln von stichbandkeramischen Gräbern aus Straubing-Lerchenhaid [Bősze], archäologischen Befunden beim Hochwasserschutzbau zwischen Pfelling und Waltendorf [Riegg/Hornung], Neuem aus dem Kelheimer Urnenfeld [Zuber], einem urnenfelderzeitlichen Gräberfeld und hallstattzeitlichen Siedlungsareal mit Herrenhof bei Straßkirchen [Husty/Cichy], dem hallstattzeitlichen Herrenhof von Essenbach - Josef-Neumeier-Allee [Richter] und dem dort gefundenen Hüttenlehm mit Abdrücken von Botanik und Architektur [Fries-Knoblach], dem Herrenhofkomplex von Landshut-Hascherkeller [Denk/Posselt/Reitmaier], dem großen hallstattzeitlichen Herrenhof von Eichendorf-Ost als möglichem Zentralort des Vilstales [Eibl/Dupper/Lorenz], 44 Jahren geophysikalischer Prospektion hallstattzeitlicher Herrenhöfe in Niederbayern [Stele/Linck/Faßbinder], dem frühbajuwarischen Gräberfeld von Bad Füssing-Würding [Spieleder] sowie bauarchäologischen Untersuchungen in Reisach, Markt Hengersberg [Häck].
The volume contains 11 papers presented at the 40th archaeological conference of Lower Bavaria in 2022, a foreword, a bibliography, and a list of authors.
