Troy McConachy is Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics at the University of Warwick, UK. He is the author of Developing Intercultural Perspectives on Language Use: Exploring Pragmatics and Culture in Foreign Language Learning (2018, Multilingual Matters). Irina Golubeva is Associate Professor and Director of the Graduate Program in Intercultural Communication at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, USA. She is the editor of From Principles to Practice in Education for Intercultural Citizenship (with Michael Byram, Han Hui and Manuela Wagner, 2016, Multilingual Matters). Manuela Wagner is Professor of Language Education and Director of the German Language and Culture Program at the University of Connecticut, USA. She is the editor of Teaching Intercultural Competence Across the Age Range: From Theory to Practice (with Dorie Conlon Perugini and Michael Byram, 2017, Multilingual Matters).
