Shame is an emotion that may affect us all at some stage, and many mental health issues that people struggle with often have shame as an underlying cause. Whether seeking understanding for ourselves or to help others, this book provides help to identify where feelings of shame have come from, so that we might find freedom in God’s grace and move towards a more positive future.Key insights in this book include:

A biblical understanding of shame, and how it differs from guilt
How shame affects our thinking, behaviour and relationships
Helpful guidance on how to work through shame and find freedom
Drawing on professional and personal experience and real-life examples, this book offers practical and spiritual help in addressing shame and finding healing for the wounds of the past.

The Waverley Abbey Insight Series is based on one-day seminars held by CWR at Waverley Abbey House to give insight into some key issues that many people struggle with today.
