Erika Fromm, Ph.D.is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Chicago and the Clinical Editor of the International Journal of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis, Erika Fromm is Past President of the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis, the American Board of Psychological Hypnosis, and the American Psychological Association's Division of Psychological Hypnosis. An honorary member of the Netherlands Society of Hypnosis, she has also been honored with awards from the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis and the American Psychological Association's Division of Psychoanalysis. She has authored more than 90 scientific papers and has coauthored or edited six books, among them the classic text on experimental hypnosis, HYPNOSIS: Developments in Research and New Perspectives, HYPNOTHERAPY AND HYPNOANALYSIS, and SELF-HYPNOSIS: The Chicago Paradigm.
