Despite the recent surge of philosophical interest in attention there is no book that introduces and assesses the rival theories and debates. This is the first book to do so and is an ideal starting point for anyone studying the philosophy of attention for the first time ,as well as more advanced students and researchers in psychology and cognitive science.
Attention is a fundamental feature of the mind yet has languished in the backwaters of philosophy.
