Many narcissistic compulsions demonstrated by performers are fostered by an increasingly competitive market. The performing industry abounds with stage artists demonstrating GRANDIOSITY and ARROGANCE. However musicians with high levels of AMBITION, LEADERSHIP and COMPETENCE-BELIEF are revealing less stigmatised aspects of narcissism.
