Conceived as a sequel to 'Walking the Walk' , although also capable of standing alone, this a fresh and timely reading of the second half of the David story, from the moment he becomes king of 'all Israel' to his death.
Pete Wilcox is Dean of Liverpool Cathedral. He has previously published two books: Living the Dream: Joseph for Today (2007) and Walking the Walk: the Rise of King David for Today (2009). He has a doctorate from Oxford in historical and systematic theology (1993), and has published numerous essays or articles in theological and church historical journals and books, mostly on either Old Testament subjects or the theology of John Calvin.
