He is co-author of the COPY EDITORS HANDBOOK FOR NEWSPAPERS and NEWS WRITING IN A MULTIMEDIA WORLD. Fellow covered the presidencies of Richard M. Nixon, as a student, and Gerald R. Ford and Jimmy Carter, as a professional journalist. He has more than 10 years of professional journalism experience as a reporter, copy editor and assistant city editor, and he continues to write columns for daily newspapers.
