A Synopsis of Renal Diseases presents the techniques employed for determining nephrotic syndrome. This book is composed of 15 chapters that discuss the physiology, morphology, and the blood flow to and from the kidneys. Some of the topics covered in the book are the different types of congenital deformities of the kidneys, ureters, and bladder; connections between kidneys, bladder, and the ureters; description of renal blood flow; mechanism of glomerular filtration; description of tubular function; urine concentration and dilution; mechanism of sodium and potassium excretion. Other chapters deal with the mechanism of urea excretion, the role of kidneys in the regulation of acid-base concentration, and the evaluation of the operation of renin-angiotensin system. The determination of the function of the renal is presented. The final chapters are devoted to the diagnosis and clinical features of acute glomerulonephritis and recurrent hematuria. The book can provide useful information to doctors, nephrologists, students, and researchers.
