Stephenson BSc PhD is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow and a full time researcher within the field of functional cardiac anatomy. He has published several peer reviewed papers including ground-breaking work on the cardiac conduction system. He has been affiliated with several universities across the globe and is an experienced teacher. J. Michael Hasenkam MD DMSc is a professor of experimental cardiac surgery and has been a full-time researcher for 25 years. He has published more than 250 peer reviewed papers and contributed to 3 books and has extensive experience in teaching and supervising young researchers. For three years he was the vice-dean of the Faculty of Health, Aarhus University, focusing on sharing of knowledge including collaborations between the university and the private sector.
