Bruce Novak is Past Chair of the Holistic Education Special Interest Group of the American Educational Research Association and Co-Chair of the Assembly for Expanded Perspectives on Learning of the National Council of Teachers of English. Sam Crowell is Professor Emeritus at California State University, San Bernardino; Affiliate Professor for UNESCO Chair for Education for Sustainable Development with the Earth Charter at University for Peace; and Faculty at Self-Design Graduate Institute, USA.
