Part 1 Warning - a note on topical corticosteroids: proper use of corticosteroids. Part 2 Rashes: rashes that itch a lot -flexural folds, nickel, neomycin, earrings and plants, finger webs, axilla and other intertriginous areas, hairy areas, hands (and sometimes feet too), legs, red and edematous, pruritis and excoriations with no primary skin lesions; red rashes on the face - whiteheads, blackheads, papules and nodules, around the mouth in women, red nose and centrofacial telangiectasia, red and scaling on eyelids, scalp and around the ears, malar erythema and sun sensitivity, heliotrope and Gottron' papules; red rashes (not face) - comes and goes in patches and plaques, targets with other red patches and macules, rash presents during first three weeks of drug therapy - check the list of drugs, round and spreading, in the groin with satellite red bumps; scaling rashes - knees, elbows, scalp and nails, herald patch, collarette of scale, Christmas tree on the back, polygonal, violaceous on wrists -white lace in the mouth, red with central clearing (body, groin) or feet, hands and scalp, upper body with pigment changes, copper palms and soles, oral mucous patch. Part 3 Blisters: tense and intact in normal-appearing skin; broken with honey-golden crusts; genital; dermatomal; flaccid and broken with erosions and painful oral ulcers; widespread on skin and mouth, skin pain, targets and sloughing. Part 4 Bumps: bumps you think may be cancer - scaling bumps, pearly bump on sun-exposed skin, brown or black bumps, sharp border with a white halo, irregular border, firm, brown bump on legs of women; skin-coloured bumps - firm, soft, in axilla, neck and groin, firm nodule, movable with central punctum, skin-coloured or pink with central dell; red bumps - on chest and back, in a circle on dorsum of hands or feet, sometimes with pustules, pedunculated and bleeding, rough, red sandpaper on upper arms and thighs; white, tiny bumps on face - under the eyes; red bumps that hurt - on the shins, in the axilla and groin, draining and boggy, on the pinna of the ear; scars; soft, mushy bumps or lumps; yellow bumps - eyelids, buttocks thighs, scaling and nodular with black dots. Part 5 Spots: purple (it won't blanch), light-coloured spots - in areas of prior dermatitis, genital, hands, feet and around the eyes and mouth, tight, firm and bound down, Raynaud's and sclerodactyly, dark spots - simple, solar and lentigo maligna, in areas of prior dermatitis. Part 6 Leg ulcers: ragged border with surrounding stasis dermatitis; sharp border and painful. Part 7 Nails and nail folds: pitting; yellow, scaling and broken; green; red nail folds that hurt. Part 8 Hair loss: smooth, shiny patches on scalp, eyebrows or beard; men and women going bald; hair loss, 3 to 6 months after stress; hair loss, with scaling and erythema. Part 9 Procedures and supplies.
