LANCE COLE is an award-winning automotive and aviation writer. As well as been the author of numerous books, he has written for _Flight International_ and a host of newspapers and magazines worldwide. Lance worked with the test pilot Brian Trubshaw whilst researching the VC10 story. Lance has studied the aircraft since he flew on them as a child in Africa.
