In 2010, Clare began to explore sustainable living and growing her own food, keeping pigs, sheep, chickens and ducks. Following the successful growth of some vegetables, and some less successfully, she has enjoyed and endured the hands-on experience of the ups and downs of animal husbandry and food growing. She has also grown two children, finding that vegetables are less complicated and don't answer back. Clare Macnaughton lives in Wiltshire with her family.
