Bettina Rust studierte Marketing und Kommunikation in Hamburg. Von 1992 an arbeitete sie für die unterschiedlichsten Radio- und TV-Formate als Moderatorin. Seit 2002 moderiert sie die zweistündige Sendung »Hörbar Rust« bei Radio Eins, in der sie prominente Menschen interviewt. Dafür erhielt sie den European Podcast Award.
