He has written for The Australian, Handle magazine, Funtastic and Explore Australia Publishing, and had some success in television scriptwriting competitions in the US. His early memories of Australian film include being captivated by Picnic At Hanging Rock as a six year old, and wearing out his VHS copy of Young Einstein.
