The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) requires States Parties to take all appropriate measures to implement the rights in the Convention. PROFESSOR URSULA KILKELLY is Professor of Law at the School of Law, University College Cork, Ireland, with particular expertise in the legal implementation of children's rights. Her work spans multiple monographs and co-edited collections and over 100 publications on children's rights issues ranging from healthcare to youth justice. PROFESSOR LAURA LUNDY is Professor of Children's Rights and Co-Director of the Centre for Children's Rights at Queen's University Belfast. She is the leading authority on child participation, recognised by a Queen's University Vice Chancellor award for Research Impact in 2019. She is the author of dozens of peer reviewed publications on the implementation of children's rights. DR BRONAGH BYRNE is Lecturer in the School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work Co-Director of the Centre for Children's Rights at Queen's University Belfast. He has particular expertise in the application of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the rights of children and young people with disabilities.
