Further, it examines in detail the state of the art in lead-free piezoelectric materials, focusing on the pathways to modify different structures and achieve enhanced physical properties and new functional behavior. Lastly, it discusses the prospects for potential future developments in lead-free piezoelectric materials across disciplines and for multifunctional applications. Given its breadth of coverage, the book offers a comprehensive resource for graduate students, academic researchers, development scientists, materials producers, device designers and applications engineers who are working on or are interested in advanced lead-free piezoelectric materials.
Prof. Jiagang Wu received his B.S. degree from Sichuan University in 2003 and Ph.D. degree from Sichuan University in 2008, and worked as a Singapore Millennium Postdoctoral Fellow (SMF-PDF) at the National University of Singapore from 2008 to 2010 (two years). He was an associate professor at Department of Materials Science of Sichuan University from 2011.2 to 2015.9. Since 2015.9, he has been promoted to professor in Sichuan University. Currently, he is deputy dean of the College of Materials Science and Engineering in Sichuan University. His main research interest is the composition design and properties modification of lead-free ferroelectric/piezoelectric/multiferroic materials. He as first author or corresponding author has published more than 150 papers in leading, international peer-reviewed journals, all the papers have been cited more than 2300 times, and H index is 31.
