Contributing to an understanding of the crustal dynamics of Central Europe, this volume explores the Bohemian Massif, the core area of the Variscan Belt. It includes studies of seismological anomalies, thermal gravity and geomagnetic fields.
The Bohemian Massif is the core area of the Variscan Belt of Central Europe. This volume collates geological and geophysical data on the Massif, including studies of seismological inhomogeneities, thermal gravity and geomagnetic fields, as well as geological and petrological models. The interpretation of the deep crust can be seen in connection with the ultradeep well drilled in Bavaria at the north-western margin of the Bohemian Massif.
