Jeanette Ogilvie, RN, BSN, CGRN has been a gastroenterology nurse for more than 25 years, 23 of which she has been affiliated with the Johns Hopkins Meyerhoff Digestive Disease Centers. Jeanette has been integrally involved in all phases of patient care in gastroenterology. She was the first nurse at Hopkins to perform flexible sigmoidoscopy and is the lead author of the first nursing publication on the use of botulinum toxin in the gastrointestinal tract. Jeanette has lectured at local and national meetings and has been involved in training physicians and nurses in flexible sigmoidoscopy. For the past 2 years she has served as one of the course directors for the Annual GI nursing Symposium in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lisa M. Hicks, RN, BSN, CGRN has been a gastroenterology nurse for more than 20 years at the Johns Hopkins Meyerhoff Digestive Disease Centers. Lisa is also involved in all phases of patient care in the endoscopy suite as well as working for the GI website as a web coordinator. In addition she is one of the research coordinators for the Barrett's Methylation Study. She has lectured at both local and national meetings and has been included in publications about Methylation in Barrett's esophagus. For the past 2 years she has served as the lead course director for the Annual GI nursing Symposium in Las Vegas, Nevada. Anthony N. Kalloo, MD is a professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is currently the Chief of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Kalloo has a national and international reputation as a therapeutic endoscopist and an innovative researcher.
