Reza S. Roghani graduated from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Science in 1998. He then completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Shiraz University, followed by a fellowship at the Mayo Clinic and a Ph.D. in pain medicine from the Karolinska Institute. Over the past 15 years, he has extensively integrated ultrasound into his clinical practice and teaching, establishing himself as an expert in neuromusculoskeletal ultrasound. He has served as a workshop moderator and instructor in ultrasound for neurologists, physiatrists, rheumatologists, and orthopedic surgeons. Actively engaged in academia, he has trained PM&R residents and spine and pain fellows in image-guided procedures, including ultrasound- and fluoroscopy-guided injections, as well as spasticity and dystonia management. His most recent academic role was as a Clinical Associate Professor of PM&R at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Science (SBMUS), one of Iran's premier institutions. Currently, he is completing a PM&R residency at Larkin Community Hospital, Nova Southeastern University, to obtain his U.S. medical license and expand his expertise in the U.S.
Jose J. Diaz graduated from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in Long Island and trained at the prestigious Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine at NYU Medical Center in New York City. He is currently a Clinical associate professor of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Nova Southeastern University KPCOM and Program Director of the PMR residency program at Larkin Community Hospital (main campus), affiliated with the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as Pain Medicine. He is an expert in neuromusculoskeletal medicine and ultrasound diagnostics as well as US-guided procedures. Over the past 15 years, he has extensively integrated ultrasound into his clinical practice and in teaching resident physicians. He has been an ultrasound workshop moderator and instructor for neurologists, physiatrists, rheumatologists, and orthopedic surgeons in these past years.
