An instructor-led tool, the information is delivered in Blackboard and can only be accessed once an instructor establishes a course instance. "The Online ECG Companion" is a dynamic product. Loaded with learning activities and interactive exercises, students will love features like the ECG Analyst that offers an interactive interface displaying ECG rhythm strips and a live action calculator ruler. Video presentations, full-color illustrations, and animations bring difficult concepts to life. Plus, clinically relevant information provides critical insight into certain concepts as they pertain to the clinical setting. Review exercises for each module include a self-testing quiz, so users can see what they've learned! Table of Contents (both products) The table of contents will consist of a number of modules that correspond to the different chapters in Aehlert: ECGs Made Easy, 2e. Module 1 - Anatomy and Physiology Module 2 - Basic Electrophysiology Module 3 - Sinus Mechanisms Module 4 - Atrial Rhythms Module 5 - Junctional Rhythms Module 6 - Ventricular Rhythms Module 7 - Atrioventricular (AV) Blocks Module 8 - Pacemaker Rhythms Module 9 - Introduction to the 12 Lead ECG Module 10 - Posttest Each module will lead the user through the step-wise approach to interpreting ECGs. Each module will be divided up into different learning sections. Each module will contain illustrations from Aehlert: ECGs Made Easy Each module will contain "Let's Review" sections. These sections will incorporate the interactive engines created for med term online. Several animations in flash will be incorporated Each module will contain relevant video clips from the Learning ECG Video Series to enhance learning and understanding. There will be different types of screens: information screens that contain content, illustrations etc. Factoid screens with "nice to know" content that lead off with "Did you know?..". Clinical Application screens will contain information pertinent to the clinical environment. Some clinical application screens contain video clips. There will be a glossary of approximately 250 terms with audio pronunciations where available and where applicable. The posttest will contain self-testing questions from the entire course. The learning management system will also incorporate test questions from the testing bank for an instructor to use within a course. Continuing Education for the program and/or modules of the program will be available.
