Intended as an introduction to gynaecological urology, this work broadly follows the guidelines for training set out by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. It is intended for medical graduates of gynaecology and hospital and community-based nurses.
The book is intended as an introduction to the emerging sub-speciality and broadly follows the guidelines for training as set out by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. It is not intended to be comprehensive or all-embracing. It is hoped that as well as proving a useful introduction to medical graduates within gynaecology, both before and after the membership examination, it might also be useful to hospital and community-based nurses, incontinence advisors, physiotherapists and general practitioners - indeed anyone involved in the management and counselling of women with urological problems.
