This book identifies the 50 key scientific articles in the field of brain surgery, provides commentary from the studies’ original authors, and explains why it is important to know them via expert reflections and editorial perspectives. Identifying those influential contributors who have shaped the practice of modern brain surgery, the book covers stroke, TBI, tumors, functional brain surgery and the critical grading scales. A short bibliography is added to each review, serving as a springboard for further inquiry. This an invaluable reference for residents and surgeons studying for boards, as well as for seasoned surgeons who want to stay current in the field.
