Arts Therapies and Progressive Illness is a guide to the use of arts therapies in the treatment of patients with diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. Diane Waller is Professor of Art Therapy at Goldsmith's College. Her previous publications include Becoming a Profession: The History of Art Therapy in Britain 1940-82 (1991), Group-Interactive Art Therapy (1993), and Treatment of Addiction (1998, co-edited with Jacqueline Mahony).
