The Boston Diagnostic Aphasia Examination Set is a group of eight products that helps clinicians distinguish among neurologically recognized aphasic syndromes. This widely used set of tools is an imperative instrument for assessing the impairment of aphasia. It is a common language for researchers and clinicians, and a source from which knowledge about aphasia has flourished. New features of the third edition include: a carefully standardized short version that offers a brief assessment; supplemental measures incorporated into test materials; new statistical bases for the revised examination; and a fully updated edition of the text, The Assessment of Aphasia and Related Disorders.
