From the reviews:

"For better understanding the direct relationship between age and wrinkles and the existing possibilities to correct the signs of photodamaged skin, the reading of this interesting book will be of great help to Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons, Cosmetic Chemists and to all people involved in the new scientific field of Cosmetic Dermatology." (P. Morganti, Journal of Applied Cosmetology, Vol. 24 (3), 2006)

"This recently published book provides the reader with a detailed and comprehensive overview about all aspects of skin aging. ... this is therefore a useful handbook giving an overview for all clinicians, who would like to inform themselves about the state of affairs in this 'timeless' subject gaining more and more importance in our daily work as clinical dermatologists. ... the book can ... be highly recommended as basic reading for scientists moving into the field of cutaneous aging research." (Lars-Alexander Schneider and Karin Scharffetter-Kochanek, Archives of Dermatological Research, 2006)

"A total of 34 authors, mostly from the USA and Germany, have contributed to 16 well-structured chapters. ... The whole subject of skin aging is well covered, including the basic science of photobiology with an emphasis on photoaging, clinical and histological features, prevention by photoprotection, and clinical interventions. ... On the whole this book is very enjoyable to read and it will certainly serve as a state-of-the-art reference within this dynamic field. Skin Aging is warmly recommended." (Berit Berne, Acta Dermato-Venereologica, Vol. 87, 2007)
