Real-world labs reinforce A+ objectives while readers apply concepts to solve real PC hardware problems. This book contains 40 labs challenge for students so they can solve real-world problems with learned concepts. The lab manual contains: materials lists and lab set-up instructions; step-by-step lab scenarios that require students to think critically; hint and warning icons to aid students through potentially confusing situations; and post-lab observation questions that measure students' understanding of their lab results. A key term quiz helps students to build their vocabulary, while back-of-book solutions explain not only what happened, but why.
