The Seam framework from JBoss allows developers to use JSF, Facelets, EJB, and JPA to write conversational web applications. Testing, securing, and database persistence are the most important topics to learn if you want an application that runs quickly, efficiently and securely. Seam 2 Web Development LITE provides a practical approach to developing Seam applications highlighting good development practices. The book zooms in on specific topics of Seam development: database persistence, component testing, and user authentication.
