Educated at Trinity College, Dublin, and Magdalen College, Oxford, Wilde made his name as a champion of the aesthetic movement, advocating for 'art for art's sake'. Wilde's literary achievements include a wide array of works, ranging from his novel 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' to his comedies 'The Importance of Being Earnest' and 'An Ideal Husband'.
