Frankie Dettori is a horse racing jockey and transcends the sport as a household name. His career in the saddle has earned him legendary status. He is known for his 'flying dismounts' and in 1996 he won all seven races on a single day at the Ascot festival. To date he has ridden the winners of 98 Group One races. In 2000, Dettori was awarded the MBE.
