Robbins) of The Future of Continental Philosophy of Religion (IUP). John D. Caputo is Thomas J. Watson Professor Emeritus of Religion and Humanities at Syracuse University and the David R. Cook Professor of Philosophy Emeritus at Villanova University. He is author of many books, including The Weakness of God: A Theology of the Event (IUP), The Insistence of God: A Theology of Perhaps (IUP), Hoping Against Hope: Confessions of a Postmodern Pilgrim, and Truth: Philosophy in Transit.
