Acclaimed Danish musician Lars Muhl continues his spiritual journey, which began in The Seer, in this mesmerising voyage into the heart of the sacred feminine
Moving from the masculine themes of The Seer, the first part of his 'O Manuscript' trilogy, Lars Muhl embraces the sacred feminine in this enriching second volume The Magdalene. We pick up the story with Muhl still enjoying the fruits of his encounter with the seer, but with a need to extend and complete his journey. A glimpse into the collective Akasha, ether, leads him to look more deeply at the role of the feminine in our spiritual growth, and that in turn brings him to Mary Magdalene. Muhl finds himself fully immersed in Mary's life, discovering truths regarding her background, her education and her relationship with Jesus. As he navigates this historical study, he finds it interwoven with metaphysical and spiritual teachings that reverberate through his own personal experiences.

Lars Muhl was for many years a successful singer/songwriter who, concurrently with his music, studied the world's religions and esoteric knowledge. Then in 1996 he was struck down by an unexplained illness, which neither doctors nor alternative therapists could diagnose. For three years he was confined to his bed, unable to move. Through a friend, Lars was put in touch with a seer who, via the telephone, brought him 'back to life'. This experience, and the revelations that followed from it, are described in The Seer (published by Watkins in 2012), The Magdalene and The Grail (forthcoming).
