This astonishing, mind-expanding book is for hypnotherapists, NLP practitioners, and change agents who use meditation, self-hypnosis, guided imagery, hypnotic language, and trance-inducing methods of healing. It provides a complete understanding of hypnotic therapies in relation to recent scientific discoveries and theories about the brain, the mind, consciousness and, ultimately, the nature of reality. The author offers scientific validation that hypnotherapy alters neurological patterns. She shows how NLP expands the map of the mind and how neuroscience expands the knowledge of the brain. She describes how hypnotic therapies have a basis in thermodynamics and systems theory. Readers will explore practical and philosophical implications for hypnotic practices posed by advances in neuroscience, cellular biology, mind-body communication, social psychology, quantum physics, and consciousness research, ultimately leading to theidealist conclusion that consciousness is a causal force in the universe.
